They look primative compared to the pictures on the web but at the time, they satisfied the desire to see what was going on across the globe.
Let's see, the first one you have up must be the Jonathan Bass one with Sigfried and
Roy.
The second one appears to be the sysop, tabman and Biro at the 1991 MAGIC! Meeting at the Stevens
Seminar. I believe it was when the sysop presented tabman and Biro with awards.
Three is Christopher Hart receiving the 2nd Place Trophy from Sigfried. Four is the picture of Jade mentioned in the first 500 messages. It was not a live shot, it was scanned in. I raced down to her publicist's office to get it, then rushed it to a service that could scan it onto diskette. It went along with the interview of her after she won the Gold Medal at the 1990 I.B.M. And five is the first performance shot ever transfered around the World via modem. I remember Ron Bieber and I racing back up to the room and frantically getting it ready to upload to MAGIC! Then Arnaud picked it up about 12 minutes later, completing the first global transfer. It is the most historic shot in the group."
